Arkansas Childrens Week 2015

April 12-18, 2015 is Arkansas Children’s Week. This year’s theme is Zoning in on Construction.

The purpose of Arkansas Children’s Week is to make everyone aware of how blessed we are to have quality childcare. Our children are our most precious possession, and we must take the time to remember how much time they spend with a “childcare provider.” Please feel free to help in any activities planned for this week.

  • Monday, April 13 – TeePee
  • Tuesday, April 14 – Train (Wear Arkansas Children’s Week shirts)
  • Wednesday, April 15 – Maze
  • Thursday, April 16 – Jungle
  • Friday, April 17 – House (Wear Arkansas Children’s Week shirts)

Friday is Teacher Appreciation Day. Please show the workers your appreciation for what they do for your child/children with a small gift or thank-you card.

Arkansas Children’s Week doesn’t start on Monday and end on Friday. It starts that Sunday (April 12) and ends on Saturday (April 18). Do something extra special with your child this week to celebrate Arkansas Children’s Week. Take pictures of the special event so that they can share it with the class. And remember to have fun. If your child does not have an Arkansas Children’s Week shirt, please allow your child to wear a yellow shirt.
